Atmospheric Furnaces
Lakshmi Vacuum Technologies has also an efficient arm/division which specializes in Atmospheric Furnaces the conventional type. The experienced and highly knowledgeable Technical Team has many products in its portfolio. These furnaces quality and reputation are of international standards. From Low temperature Ovens to Big Kilns, controlled atmosphere furnace to hydrogen-controlled furnaces. Lakshmi Vacuum Has manufactured and served many industries.
Products and Services
The furnace chamber is cylindrical in shape and the assembly is double-walled to attain high-quality surface finish for the material. Highly Refractive Molybdenum or tungsten assembly is placed inside the chamber for heating with greater ease when loading materials for processing. The retort serves for increasing the temperature uniformity and protecting the heat zone from volatile processes. Temperature Range Up to 1500°C
Application: Standard Applications Wire annealing, Annealing/annealing under protective atmosphere, Isothermal Annealing, Brazing, Sintering, Vacuum Hardening, Vacuum Stress Relieving, Vacuum Tempering, Laboratory Applications
When Large Materials have to be heat treated then bogie Hearth Furnaces are excellent choice, the temperature and atmosphere vary depending on process and application. Operating temperature between 250 – 1150°C depending on application.
Application as tempering, annealing, soft annealing, normalizing, stress relieving, homogenizing and recrystallization.
Surface Treatment is one of the Products in LVT’s Product line. Nitriding is one of the Processes compatible. Nitriding is a process that involves diffusing nitrogen into a ferrous part’s surface. The result is a part with increased surface hardness, wear and corrosion resistance, anti-galling properties and improved fatigue strength. Both batch and continuous equipment can be used for gas nitriding.
Hardening is the process of heat treatment in which steel is kept at a suitable temperature till it gets transformed into austenite and then quenching it rapidly. Based on the carbon content present in the steel, the temperature for austenitizing is decided.
Pusher furnaces are used in the heat treatment of material which needs huge volume and less variety for operations like hardening, carburizing, stress relieving, annealing, Solutionizing and Ageing.
A conveyor furnace is designed for the rapid heat treatment of products in various manufacturing environments. They comprise an overarching tunnel-shaped heating chamber which is separated into different heating modules which integrate several heating processes into one continuous procedure, using a conveyor belt capable of withstanding extreme and fluctuating temperatures. The internal heating modules are typically separated into sections for pre-heating, heating and / or firing, and cooling products passing through the chamber.
The Drop Bottom Furnace is the inverted type with charge lifting and lowering facility to accommodate the high-speed quenching including de-clamping, door opening and quenching.
The Drop Bottom Furnace can be a standalone type with charge carrier loader and quenching tank moving on the floor or floor mounted with charge carrier loader and quench tanks sliding in a pit.
As the requirement is very fast quenching, it is fully automated by the use of PLC and SCADA. These furnaces can also be used for continuous ageing cycle
Laboratory and industrial chamber / muffle furnaces are manufactured to exacting standards to ensure customer satisfaction and durability. Whether you need to front, top or bottom load depends on your application but we will advise the most appropriate solution within any budget
Selecting a Furnace for finishing your parts is largely a function of what kinds of metals your will process (temperature), what kind of atmosphere you will heat them in, (air, hydrogen, nitrogen), and what kind of throughput you need in your production or lab environment. One of the most flexible furnace designs on the market, these batch furnaces come in box furnace forms in multiple sizes. Available with sealed atmosphere chambers and temperature. This furnace is a better choice for medium to high volume production environments. With multiple heating zones, atmosphere sealed chambers, the furnace is both reliable and customizable. Furnaces are designed and manufactured furnaces suitable for 3D printing process and various applications.
Vacuum ovens are designed with safety, reliability and efficiency in mind—and offer features that tailor to your specific applications. Vacuum ovens are ovens that incubate samples at an elevated temperature in a vacuum. Features include capacity, vacuum range, achievable temperature range, and programmability. Applications include drying, curing, aging, vacuum embedding and plating
Various types of Ovens
Ovens are heated chambers used for a variety of industrial applications, including drying, curing, or baking components, parts or final products. Industrial ovens can be used for large or small volume applications, in batches or continuously with a conveyor line, and a variety of temperature ranges, sizes and configurations.
Such ovens are used in many different applications, including chemical processing, food production, and even in the electronics industry,
Curing Ovens : Designed to cause a chemical reaction in a substance once a specific temperature is reached. Powder coating is one common curing oven use.
